History of Nick Cornish Driving School
Nick Cornish School of Motoring has been operating in the Newbury area since 1985, the fact that we have grown from one car to a fleet of ten vehicles is indicative of the high level of demand for skilled instruction.
Our driving team is highly committed to teaching drivers skills which will help ensure they drive safely for life and not just in order to pass the driving test, as a team of instructors we can offer specialist knowledge in all aspects of driving, if you are having problems with your driving one of our instructors will be able to help. We all have years of experience in driving all types of vehicles and in all conditions, which we will only to pleased to pass on.
We like to liase with parents so that the student gets continuity and doesn't get confused, we carry out mock tests so the new driver gets used to driving as if they were on there own. Once the test has been passed we promote pass plus a range of modules, which include motorway driving and taking the student to different areas that they are not used to, often in different conditions. This helps to improve their driving because they still lack experience. We are very aware that in today's traffic conditions if we don't get it right then we could be part of the problem.
